This Privacy Policy explains how The Fluffy Fam collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit thefluffyfam.com, place an order, submit a creative brief or character reference, or contact us. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes information needed to operate the storefront and checkout.
Information we collect
- Order and contact information: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details and customer-support messages.
- Transaction information: payment status, method type and fraud-prevention signals. Payment providers process full payment credentials; The Fluffy Fam does not ask you to send full card numbers or security codes by email or public form.
- Device and store-use information: IP address, browser, device, cookies, pages viewed, interactions and referral information.
- Custom-project information: character or project names; pet or person photos; avatars, sketches, character sheets, clips and written ideas; appearance, personality, plot direction, requested moments, content to avoid and related rights confirmations.
- Channel-feature authorization: a separate record only if you purchase or are accepted for the Official Channel Feature and approve the exact public cut, credit and publication details.
How we use information
We use information to operate the store; process payments and orders; create a recognizable stylized character and custom movie; communicate about missing references, approvals, revisions and delivery; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; improve our services; comply with legal obligations; and send marketing only where permitted.
Reference images and creative materials
You keep ownership of the photos and other references you submit. We use them only as reasonably necessary to review, create, deliver and support your order. A representative file for each included character uploaded on the product page may be stored by Shopify as an order-linked file. Additional files may be collected through email or another production service described to you. Access is limited to people and service providers who reasonably need the materials for order fulfillment and support.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host the storefront, process payments, communicate, store files, prevent fraud, analyze store performance, and perform creative or production work. This includes Shopify and may include payment, email, cloud storage, analytics and AI-assisted creative services. We share only what is reasonably needed for the service and do not sell customer reference images, character materials or creative briefs.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
Marketing and Official Channel Features
Transactional messages about an order are not marketing. Email marketing follows the preference you provide and applicable law. Custom projects are private by default and an ordinary creative brief does not grant publication permission. If an Official Channel Feature is purchased or accepted, we request separate approval of the exact public cut, credit and publication details before posting. That limited authorization does not permit publication of raw reference files, paid advertising, third-party licensing or model training.
Retention and deletion
We retain order, transaction and support records as reasonably needed for fulfillment, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal compliance. Creative references are kept only as long as reasonably needed to produce, deliver and support the order, unless you request earlier deletion after delivery or separately authorize continued public use. Some information may remain where retention is legally required or technically necessary in backups and order records.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also opt out of marketing at any time. To make a request, email us with the checkout email and order number where relevant. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
Cookies and signals
Shopify and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies for essential storefront functions, checkout, security, preferences, analytics and advertising where permitted. Available controls depend on your region and browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the store or checkout from working.
International processing

Children
